GRANT GREENBERG is a director and cinematographer. A graduate of the MFA filmmaking program at New York University, Grant’s thesis film Cricket Head won the Wasserman Award for best Directing.
Post film-school, he honed his cinematography chops working as a DP for renowned fashion photographers: Sølve Sundsbø; Peter Lindbergh & Annie Leibovitz. Whilst also notching off narrative film credits; including two shorts which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. His most recent feature project, Lyle, stars Transparent actress, Gaby Hoffmann and SNL’s Michael Che.
In 2015, Grant began directing commercial projects for fashion, beauty & lifestyle brands. Chanel, Maybelline, Joe Fresh, Urban Decay, Biotherm & Swarovski are some of his recent clients and he’s been fortunate to direct Gwyneth Paltrow, Liv Tyler, Milla Jovovich and Pharell. His most recent project was a viral film for Urban Decay starring Nicole Ritchie which garnered 750K views on Instagram in 36 hours.
Born and raised in South Africa, Grant has a gentle yet determined approach, and a desire to create memorable work.
